The Wedding Cake strain became famous when American breeders managed to achieve THC levels of 25% and more by default. Wedding Cake cannabis seeds are one of the first cannabis strains to reliably achieve this. 
 
 
Its parent plants are a Girl Scout Cookies phenotype and a very potent Cherry Pie clone, another top strain from the USA. Wedding Cake is an indica/sativa hybrid. Occasionally this strain is also referred to as Pink Cookies. 
 
 
It flowers for about 9 weeks and has complex fruity flavors, abundant tart and sweet. The XL yields as well as the XL THC content quickly made the Wedding Cake strain a popular cannabis strain.
