Tangie, also known as Tangie Kush, is an award-winning Sativa-dominant hybrid bred by Royal Queen Seeds from the cross of California Orange and Skunk #1. This strain is a tribute to the popular Tangerine Dream of the 1990s, which hit the cannabis scene like a bomb for its incomparable flavour and intense effect. The modern Tangie has also won numerous Cannabis Cup awards and is considered one of the tastiest citrus strains on the market.

Experienced growers can get the most out of their plants with advanced growing methods such as topping and ScrOG. Indoors, Tangie grows relatively tall, up to 120cm, with slightly above average spread and responds well to training techniques that can be used to control growth. During the 9 to 10 week flowering period the plant begins to produce a large number of elongated flowers which give off a wonderful orange lemon scent. Under optimum conditions, you can expect a harvest of up to 550 grams per square metre of this aromatic weed. Grown outdoors, the plants like plenty of direct sunlight and space to grow. With a stronger strain and slender, tall growth they can reach up to 220cm in height and produce lots of heavy buds. Accordingly, this strain rewards its growers with fantastic yields that can reach up to 700 grams per plant! Here in the Northern Hemisphere it can be harvested in early October.
