Shimo is a creation of the breeder
Ripper Seeds. The seed bank based in Barcelona has crossed the popular strains RS11 (also known as Rainbow Sherbert #11) and
K-mintz. The result is a productive strain with a fruity taste, rock-hard buds with a sticky coating. It is also characterized by a short flowering time and uncomplicated growing.
The Shimo strain is suitable for both indoor and outdoor growing. The flowering stage lasts between 50 and 55 days and is therefore very moderate. The plants reach a height of 90 to 100 cm and are very vigorous and robust. When grown indoors, growers can expect a yield of around 550 g per m2. Outdoors, each plant can yield between 600 and 700 g when they reach their full size of 210 cm. When grown outdoors, the plants are ready for harvest at the end of September, or early October at the latest (northern hemisphere).
Shimo is a strain with around 60 percent indica genes. The THC level is 25 percent and provides a strong high that lasts for several hours. The effect is very relaxing and can even feel slightly narcotic. In addition to the relaxation, there is a small, somewhat psychedelic sativa part that activates into a special creativity when you smoke this strain.
In addition to the Kush taste, Shimo is characterized above all by various fruit aromas and citrus accents as well as a distinct mint note. The fruit flavors are more pronounced in the vaporizer than in the joint or bong. However you consume it, you will love this weed!
