Purple Satellite by Green Mountain Seeds is a cross between two cannabis lines. One is a legendary strain from Mexico called Oaxacan Gold. It dates back to 1979 and should probably be familiar to some grandparents and parents from the 70s and 80s. The other parent of the Purple Satellite strain is a rare, pure Nepalese sativa strain.

This combination results in a spectacular plant with high THC content of 20% and finest sativa genes. In addition, it has the unbeatable advantage of early flowering due to the cross-bred Nepalese highland sativa. And she only needs 9 to 10 weeks to do so. Purple Satellite is one of the earliest sativas with an outstanding sativa quality. It can easily be grown in more northern regions with shorter summers, as it is ready for harvest already by the end of September. It is very resistant to all kinds of pests, both indoors and outdoors, but most of all it is resistant to all kinds of fungal infestations like powdery mildew or grey mold in the buds.

The plants grow very homogeneously and look almost like clones. It has long stems, which are not sparse, but very stable and grows medium high. Almost all plants develop pink to magenta colored pistils and purple calyxes. And that's even without colder night temperatures outside. Even with indoor growing, this particular coloration occurs. Purple Satellite delivers beautiful buds, with sensational aroma. Its yield is high and can reach 550g m2.

The taste of Purple Satellite is extremely smooth and pleasant. Slight notes of pine, cedar and hashish, due to the "Nepal infusion", mixed with a hint of berry syrup can be tasted. During mid to late flowering, a strong cherry scent may appear.
