The Purple Punch OG strain was created by hybridizing the elite clone of Purple Punch (Larry OG x Grand Daddy Purple) and an elite clone of Star Killer (Skywalker OG Kush x Rare Dankness #2). Parent plants, then, that each have internationally recognized prestige in the cannabis community.

 

The Purple Punch OG strain is an indica-dominant cannabis strain with a compact structure, a large main bud and numerous strong side branches. The plant produces beautiful dense buds that are covered in copious amounts of resin and will be very aromatic to your palate. The production of terpenes is very high in Purple Punch OG, which makes it ideal for extracting concentrates. Thanks to the parent plant Grand Daddy Purple, some of the specimens in your grow may end up with purple or reddish flowers and leaves.

 

The aroma and taste of the cannabis plant are delicious and complex. That the weed would be sweet and fruity is not surprising at Sweet Seeds, however the very spicy OG Kush notes surprise with a hint of lemon. The effect is intense and relaxing, which is due to the ratio between Indica: 80% and Sativa: 20%. With a THC content of 18-22% and a CBD value of 0.5%, this is still considered a very powerful cannabis strain. When growing indoors you can expect an yield of 400-550 g/m2, while when grown outdoors you can expect a production output of 350-600 g/plant can be achieved.
