Pineapple

Pineapple Strain was named for its post-fresh, tropical pineapple taste and aroma. The genetics of the potent US cannabis strain originally came from a single phenotype of Ed Rosenthal's Super Bud. The Pineapple strain was selected for three outstanding characteristics: for its high THC levels, for its distinctive indica traits, and for its fruit cocktail flavor palette. Many inbred generations during the selection process stabilized the robust structure and intensified the presence of its typically sweet tropical pineapple flavor. The buds, which even in their the shape can reveal a miniature pineapple fruit, also exude a slight diesel note.

 

The flowering time is about 8-9 weeks. When growing indoors, it is important to use a carbon filter to control the pervasive Pineapple aromas. Give the plant a lot of light, e.g. with a sodium lamp of 600 W, to stimulate its growth intensively and to achieve optimal harvests. 12-14 plants per m2 are possible to put due to their growth characteristics.

 

Outdoors, Pineapple is a discreet cannabis plant with an amazing yield.  To increase the size of the flowers and the thickness of the buds, add for example Super Guano in the flowering phase and nothing will stand in the way of a rich yield. This of course makes Pineapple Strain attractive for commercial plantation growing.
