Pineapple Express > Barneys Farm

The Pineapple Express strain as a feminized, photoperiod version by Barneys Farm is a notorious strain created by crossing a strong Hawaiian landrace and the powerful strain Trainwreck. When smoked, you can enjoy a multitude of different flavor components and be uplifted by the strong sativa effect. The cultivation is quite easy and hassle-free thanks to robust and extremely resistant plants.

 

This strain has a manageable flowering time of 55 to 60 days. In this moderate time span, large, firm buds develop, whose shape is somewhat reminiscent of the eponymous fruit (Pineapple). The plants have a slightly above average stretch and reach a height of 110 to 130 cm indoors. For smaller plants, initiate flowering a bit earlier and let the plants grow to a maximum of 20 cm before switching to 12 hours of lighting. Expected yields range from 600 to 700 g per m2. In outdoor cultivation, the plants grow up to 2.8 m tall and bear up to 1500 grams per plant under good conditions. Harvest time here is early to mid-October (northern hemisphere).

 

The effect of Pineapple Express strain sets in quickly and heavily. The sativa-dominant hybrid strain has a THC content of 25%. This makes the effect strong and predominantly psychedelic. It is the perfect weed to stimulate creativity and be active. Definitely not a weed to take it easy! 

 

Flavors of pineapple and mango can be found in this weed as well as slightly spicy notes and even a reminiscence of cedar wood. Pineapple Express is a terpene-laden aroma bomb in any case!
