The Cali Connection set out to breed the Original Sour Diesel as a feminized variety. They took an original Sour Diesel clone and crossed it with a Sour OG from their own gene pool. The resulting plants were then backcrossed again to create an almost identical copy of the mother. 
 
The Original Sour Diesel strain grows medium tall (90-120cm) and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor growing. Indoors the cannabis plant needs 9-10 weeks of flowering, outdoors it can be harvested from mid-October. It yields 650g per plant when grown outdoors, or 550-650g per m² under artificial light. Although robust, the plant should be additionally supported to be able to carry the powerful buds easier!
 
Original Sour Diesel gets very dark, purple leaves, which provide a nice contrast to the resinous, white buds. Original Sour Diesel has the famous lemony taste with strong gasoline undertones. The effect of the weed is very balanced and invigorates the mind while relaxing the muscles. A long journey that should never end begins. It is one of the most popular cannabis strains in the USA and not without reason!
