Snow-white, hardy and potent magic mushrooms - a grower's dream

Jack Frost is an albino hybrid variety of the Psilocybe cubensis genus that offers everything a grower could want: a gorgeous, extraordinary appearance combined with high potency and above-average resistance to contamination. As a result, these magic mushrooms are ideal for beginners. Only when it comes to temperature is this strain a little fussy. For best results, you should maintain a constant temperature between 23°C and 25°C and a humidity of 60 to 80% during cultivation. If you work particularly cleanly and sterilely, you can even expect five successful flushes with this kit, giving you a total harvest of up to 650 grams. Jack Frost mushrooms get their name not only from their snow-white colour, but also from the production of fine, white spores that give the mushrooms a frosty winter look. Jack Frost mushrooms are easy to recognise by their distinctive appearance. In particular, the bluish shimmering lamellae, which form a strong contrast to the otherwise completely white fruiting bodies, are a unique identifying feature. Otherwise, this variety is visually characterised by thick stems on which fleshy caps are enthroned. These open wide as the mushroom ripens and may even bend upwards, accentuating the bluish gills. Jack Frost mushrooms are a relatively new variety and it is not known who first cultivated them. But despite the mystery of its origins, its parent strains are no secret: Albino Penis Envy and True Albino Teacher. These are both very popular strains, notorious in the magic mushroom scene for their particularly strong effects. The exact psilocybin content of Jack Frost mushrooms is not yet known. However, many trip reports mention a high intensity of effects, as is to be expected from the potent parents. Inexperienced psychonauts should therefore take this strain very slowly and start with very small amounts.

Fantastic colours with euphoric bursts

The strongest effects of these magic mushrooms are visual. So you can expect intense visuals and fantastic colours after consumption. Even with your eyes closed, you will see colourful mandalas that are constantly moving and flowing in ever-changing patterns. In addition, many users report an increased field of vision, sometimes so extreme that you feel you have a 360-degree panoramic view. The visual effects are accompanied by intense feelings of happiness and euphoria. You will have a strong urge to move and feel your body more intensely. During the trip you will also experience a strong distortion of time. Some minutes may seem like half an eternity, while the next hour passes in a flash. With Jack Frost magic mushrooms you can definitely look forward to a special mind-expanding state that will reveal a whole new perspective on your life.

IMPORTANT:

Always and without exception, thoroughly wash and disinfect hands, forearms and all work surfaces before working with a grow kit.

Close windows and doors to prevent microorganisms from drafts.

Always wear a mask to avoid inhaling spores and contaminating the mycelium/cake with your own breath.

Do not open the grow kit before it is in the grow bag.

Grow kits should always be used immediately upon receipt and should only be stored in exceptional circumstances. A grow kit can last up to 4 weeks, well packed at 3-5°C in the refrigerator. However, no guarantee is given.

Brief instructions for growing the grow kit:

Remove the enclosed grow bag from the box.

Fill 200-300ml of still water (not tap water) into the grow bag (not into the grow kit).

Place the grow kit into the grow bag filled with water.

Now remove the lid of the shroom grow kit in the grow bag

Wash the lid under running water and stow it away for future harvests

Spray the open grow kit with some still mineral water using a spray bottle with an aerosol sprayer (again, do not use tap water)

Close the top of the grow bag with two to three paper clips or tape to seal it so that sufficient humidity can build up.

Place the shroom grow bag in a warm place with plenty of indirect light where the temperature is a constant 18-26°C (don't put it in direct sunlight!); although magic mushrooms grow in the temperature range indicated, for optimal yields, keep the temperature at a constant 24°C. A thermal mat can help, but will not compensate for a room that is too cold.

Ventilate the grow kit once a day by briefly opening the grow bag and spraying one spray from your atomizer on each side of the grow bag; avoid spraying the mycelium/cake directly; then close the grow bag again as usual.

The first mushrooms should be visible after about two weeks.

Quick guide to harvesting the Mexican:

Cleanliness is the number one priority when harvesting magic mushrooms. Wash your hands and forearms well with antibacterial soap and always wear sterile gloves. It is very important to harvest the mushrooms as soon as the veils under the hats of the mushrooms begin to break away from the mushroom stem. If you wait too long past this point, the growkit will most likely not produce any more harvests. Be sure to harvest in a timely manner. Grab the mushrooms by the stem and gently twist and pull them out. It is very important not to just pull, as this can damage the mycelium inside the grow kit and then cause it to perform worse in future harvests. After picking, the stems may turn bluish, but this is normal and even speaks for the quality of the mushrooms.

Additional harvests:

It is possible, with proper handling, to produce two to three harvests with these grow kits. However, experienced growers can manage more. To do this, proceed as follows:

Remove the grow kit from the grow bag after harvesting and fill it up from the bottom about 1cm - 2cm with still mineral water.

Put the stored lid back on the grow kit and put the kit so 2 hours in the refrigerator.

After 2 hours, carefully open one of the corners of the lid and carefully pour off excess water. It is normal that little water remains and the amount of water varies from grow kit to grow kit.

Begin at point 1 of the grow line and harvest the next mushrooms in a few weeks. This process can be repeated several times. The grow kit has reached the end of its life cycle when no new mushrooms have formed after at least three weeks or the kit turns green, red, gray or yellow, as this indicates contamination by other microorganisms. Please dispose of grow kits directly off-site and do not put them in household waste.
