Guerrilla's Gusto is a large, beautiful hemp variety that has been developed and tested for several years in northern Spain. Finally, some of the seeds from the best season made the journey to Sensi Seeds in Holland. The original cannabis seeds were a souvenir from a loyal customer.
Guerilla's Gusto had its beginning as an unusual combination of completely different Indian varieties. One cannabis strain from the north, the other from the south of the subcontinent. Northern Indian ganja is classic Indica, while the lesser-known ones from the south are clearly of tropical origin. They therefore have strong Sativa qualities. To add more flavour to these hybrids and to allow its offspring to thrive in less warm climates, the strain was paired with several Sensi parent plants known for their resistance and potency. Of course, Skunk was an obvious candidate, but there are a few other very interesting (and possibly more surprising) elements in the final version in the Guerilla's Gusto seed strain. Together, these have more power than the low price might suggest. Sensi Seeds' definitive, acclimatised version of the Hindi hybrid subsequently proved to be even bigger, earlier in flower and more hardy than expected.
Today, the hemp seed has gained a widely respected reputation as the right hemp variety for guerrilla-style growers. In spring, once the seedlings have sprouted into seedlings, you can put Guerilla's Gusto outside in a sunny spot and then just leave it to itself. As long as the plants are in good soil and regularly watered, they do not need any more care during the rest of the growing season. But planters should not assume that these guerrillas are hiding in the undergrowth. This is a large, bear-strong variety that can reach impressive heights, especially if left to grow unhindered throughout the outdoor season.
