Gelato Mint

With Gelato Mint, breeders at 00 Seeds have crossed Gelato #41 and Animal Mints to create a high-yielding, potent cannabis strain with a fresh mint and menthol flavour. The flowers are a real eye-catcher with a thick layer of glistening trichomes combined with lots of orange hairs. Under optimum conditions, indoor plants can weigh up to 600 grams per square metre! This feminised seed will develop into a magnificent plant that will make your grow shine with great yields, a refreshing aroma and a huge THC content of up to 28%.

 

With a balanced spectrum of effects, this strain, like its parents, is an excellent marijuana to use at any time of day to boost your current energy levels. If you are feeling a little tired in the evening, the relaxing and calming effects will be most noticeable. If you smoke it in the morning, you can expect an uplifting effect that will keep you motivated, receptive and mentally clear. The breathtaking THC content of 28% should not be underestimated, however. If you test your tolerance too much, you will not be able to benefit from the uplifting effects and will probably end up passed out on the sofa.

 

Animal Mints as a parent has passed on its refreshing mint-menthol flavour to this strain, which is most noticeable when inhaled and is accompanied by a spicy pine note. The aftertaste is given a special twist with a sweet hint of vanilla that rounds off the smoking experience perfectly. 

 

These feminised seeds result in hardy plants, making this strain a dream for the novice grower. Grown indoors, the plants remain relatively manageable with a height of between 85 and 95cm. Despite its compact size, Gelato Mint has a fantastic yield potential of 550-600 grams per square metre after a 56-63 day flowering period. When grown outdoors, the plants can grow considerably taller, developing into 260 to 290 cm bushes. Due to the relatively short flowering period, the buds are ready for harvest in early October.
