The Deep Mandarin strain - The Delicious Seeds crew is committed to breeding several medicinal-only varieties with a high CBD content for customers with appropriate requirements. It all started more than three years ago when they were given a clone of an excellent variety called "Carmen". The breeders immediately started working with her, cultivating and harvesting her, and then found out while smoking that she has no psychoactive effect and does not make you high, yet has a wonderful intense taste of tangerine. 

 

Since they had cloned it while growing it, they made one of these clones bloom, harvested it and had the flowers analysed by gas chromatography in combination with mass spectrometry. They found a THC value of 8.5 and a CBD value of 12.5. They were all very surprised and decided to take a closer look at this variety. Therefore, the best varieties were immediately crossed and work was done on each individual cross.
