The California Indica Strain is the result of an exceptional strain of California Bud crossed with a top class Afghani hash plant. This combination gave the new strain more weight, speed and the deep undertone of hashish that could be combined with the wonderful citrus scent of the mother plant. Sometimes the name 'Orange Bud' is used as a generic name for all kinds of Indicas with dense orange hair, with or without citrus scent. But general grass of the genus should never be confused with true California Orange Bud. The true lines of Orange have been planted outdoors for many years in the near-perfect climate of the West Coast. Since various seed-bearing lines have been produced over an enormous area, there is an enormous amount of great Orange Bud phenotypes, from Sativa-dominant to almost pure Indica, depending on the selections made by each grower.

 

 

However, the abundance of orange hair is inherent in all forms of California Orange Bud, and the truly distinctive quality of this line lies in the irresistible sweet-hot aroma of citrus fruits. Sensi Seeds California Indica is bred from a massive, high-yielding Orange Bud mother whose mixed characteristics tend to be more Sativa. Long-lasting flowering and a tendency to open buds were controlled by crossing with Super Afghani. 

 

The resulting hybrid is solid, compact and fast. Don't worry, the characteristic aroma of fruit peel is fully preserved in California Indica, and in some individuals it is even enhanced with the resinous taste of Hash Plant, which together create a juicy bitter-orange bouquet that will pamper your palate like a fine liqueur or fine dark chocolate.
