This cannabis plant was first known as Soma Skunk V+ before the strain was renamed Buddhas Sister. This is said to reflect her tendencies and further increase her appeal to Amsterdam coffee shops. Right after this delicious weed was renamed, it was regularly sold out in coffee shops and remains one of the best-selling weed strains at De Dampkring to this day. 
 
This cannabis plant grows tall and lanky. When crossed with Afghani Hawaiian, it has a much higher yield but a less sweet taste than its other half, Reclining Buddha. Buddhas Sister has a flavor like a tart and only slightly sweet cherry candy. 
 
Buddhas Sister - Hashish at the highest level
The buds feel slippery-silky on the fingers, already hinting at the abundance of oily resin. The weed is excellent for making a fantastic hashish. 
 
Like all Soma strains, Buddhas Sister is a quality medical cannabis that can be used therapeutically for many conditions. The high is powerful, creative and cerebral in its effects. As a main indica strain, Buddha's Sister tends to form many side branches, so it is better to grow it as a single plant with multiple branches, rather than tenting it with other plants. With a little attention, the plant will show lush growth. 
 
This variety does well in hydroponics, but Soma's fully organic soil methods also give great results. The rather fluffy, loosely packed buds give this plant good resistance to mold, while still providing a pleasing yield.
