Killer A5 Haze is one of the rarest (and probably most potent) plants belonging to the elite Dutch clone family of Haze hybrids that Nevil Schoenmakers developed in the late 80's and still exist. Originally a Northern Lights #5 crossed with the original Haze A clone, this A5 Haze is characterized by its extremely trippy and high potency and extremely high yields. She has organic and fleshy flavors of authentic 'old school' Dutch Haze with more of an old and traditional Colombian sativa influence. The rarity of this A5 Haze mother goes back to the fact that Nevil lost the 'Haze A' male decades ago, so no seeds were ever produced in commercial quantities with this Haze A male.
ACE's main goal with the Killer A5 Haze was to create a sativa-dominant hybrid that retained the extreme potency, strong growth, and high production of the A5 Haze mother. ACE achieved this by crossing with the killer phenotype of a vigorous
Malawi, increasing the THC content up to 30%. At the same time, ACE has increased the production of resin and the size of the trichomes, reducing the long flowering time of Killer A5 Haze to moderate flowering time with a maximum of 90 days, depending on the phenotype. Despite its great sativa vigor and very high production, the
Killer A5 Haze strain grows with a controlled and manageable size and is the sativa hybrid with by far the highest production per m2. You will harvest tons of weed!
One is an absolutely Haze-dominant phenotype: this phenotype is the one that shows the most influence of Colombian sativa, coming from the "Haze A" male, and produces huge and beautiful colas with an excellent flower/leaf ratio. It carries woody and incense aromas of pure Haze. The resin production of this phenotype is good, but not as extreme as the following 3 phenotypes. Flowering time: 75-90 days.
The second phenotype
Northern Lights x Haze: This is the most indica influenced phenotype of Northern Lights and therefore the one with the smallest size, the fastest flowering time and the lowest flower to leaf ratio. It is also the phenotype that is most true to the characteristics of the original Killer A5 Haze mother. It produces very resinous, round flowers that form characteristic fox tails by reflowering at the end of the flowering period. Fleshy and organic aromas of decaying petals. The flowering period is 66-80 days.
The third phenotype shows a good distribution of Haze and Malawi characteristics: sativa-dominant and balanced in terms of characteristics coming from both "Haze A" and "Malawi". It produces huge, very dense colas and buds with an excellent flower to leaf ratio and the glistening resin crystals of ACEs Malawi. The aroma is reminiscent of incense and woody aromas of Haze, with the oily and resinous background of Malawi. Flowering time: 75-85 days.
The fourth and last is the "Silver Malawi" phenotype: it is a "monstrous" sativa phenotype with clearly more Malawi influence. An incredibly high flower to leaf ratio characterizes these plants, an extreme XXXL production, with the classic huge trichomes and large egg-shaped flowers of Malawi genetics. The resinousness of this plant is incomparable. Just before harvest, the flowers shimmer almost silver. The influence of the "Killer Malawi" comes into its own here and has brought this Killer A5 Haze to an extreme level in every way, never before achieved in this form.
